I recently stayed at the Manhattan Hotel for a planned 5-day visit but had to cut my stay short after 4 days due to some challenges. While I appreciate the effort to provide supper that was enjoyable during the first two days, the menu became repetitive afterward. Similarly, the breakfast bags lacked variety, which affected my overall dining experience.
Unfortunately, my room had a roach issue, which was quite concerning. Additionally, when I needed to extend my stay for one more day, I was unable to get the assistance required and had to relocate to another hotel. I hope the hotel management takes these concerns seriously and improves the quality of service and hygiene for future guests.
I would like to express my disappointment with the shuttle service on my first day. I was picked up late due to miscommunication between the front desk and the driver. Unfortunately, instead of acknowledging the issue, I was given inconsistent explanations. One staff member mentioned there was an accident on the road, while another claimed they couldn’t reach the driver. Eventually, it became clear that these were attempts to cover up a lack of coordination from the front desk.
I would like to commend Mpho, the shuttle driver, for his outstanding service during my stay. From the very first day to the last, he was consistently professional, courteous, and incredibly helpful. Mpho’s friendly demeanor, punctuality, and willingness to go the extra mile truly made my experience more enjoyable. He was always impeccably dressed, and the cleanliness of the shuttle reflected his high standards. Thank you, Mpho, for your exceptional service. You are a true asset to the team, and I hope your efforts are recognized and...
Read moreIt was terrible I was staying with 2 friends over a weekend as we had a convention to go to. Firstly there was no water the entire weekend . However they were delivering buckets of water to the room which was fine we thought we can make do. On Saturday it was fine they brought us water and things however on Sunday our room had a leakage and my friend tried phoning reception to tell them and they said they would send someone up but it took extremely long and my friend had to move the beds and things himself😐...once we got to our new room we phoned for water at about half 6 as I got back from the convention and wanted to bath , their response was that they would send it up in 30 minutes however they didn’t we waited till 8pm to phone again and tell them the same thing to please send us water and they proceeded to say there is a list as nobody has water. So fine we asked how long they said they will check and phone us back . They never phone back. At around 10 we phoned and asked (keep in mind now fro half 6 we asking them for water and it is now around 10) they said there is a list so we asked where we are on the list and she gave some story till we asked again and she said number 7 so if we are number 7 on the list it takes them 4 and a half hours to not reach us? We asked them what number they on and they said they’ll check and proceeded to cut the call again and not call back . It was only the following morning we got water...once again after phoning . Terrible terrible stay. Would not recommend staying...
