I am an employee with Edcon and was booked at your hotel from Monday till Thursday (15 -18 July). My employer booked a shuttle service for me to and from the hotel to work but while the driver was driving me to the training venue, he told me that he would be unable to collect me in the afternoon because he had other people to collect and that where I was delivering the training was just a walking distance.

Firstly whether it’s a walking distance or not does not matter the fact is my company paid for me to enjoy this service, secondly Edcon booked me a shuttle service because I carry company equipment (Laptop etc.) that contains sensitive company information.

My second complain is that my company paid for me to receive a lunch pack, freshly prepared by the way but yesterday my lunch was made up of the previous night’s supper; rice, steak, pumpkin and gravy and the rice was going bad.

I am very unhappy with your service and will advise our procurement department to never book me at your hotel again and to consider an another service provider. In addition to that I am going to complain on Hello Peter and will consult the relevant hotel regulatory bodies and rating agencies...

I booked a family room which is constituted of double bed and a single bed over the double bed on a bunker configuration of which was very good and neat. However The 3rd bed was in a form of sleeper couch which when unfolded to be a bed we realized it was never cleaned still full of grass and dust . The friendly stuff came in a clean it for us which is a bit of a turn off during covid times to be addressing hygiene in a hotel.

There was also an issue about the amount I was told during booking and the amount I was asked to pay on arrival but the hotel manager sorted that out with ease after a quick seat down talk.

On family room the TV is bit offset but it is nicely aligned on standard rooms.

Supper is on request and must be done prior for an additional charge which varies depending on the meal of the day. Mine was R90 a plate, was worth every cent.

They have a fabulous buffet with lots of variety at breakfast with friendly waiters waiting to assist when needed.

Will Rate the hotel 3.5...

We made reservation and chose the option of paying at the facility. On our way we tried to call to let them know we are coming, but we didn't get through. On arrival we were told that the hotel is fully booked, which didn't makes sense because we didn't cancel our booking which was confirmed, we were not called or contacted before giving our secured space away. The guy at the reception said "I can give you my manager's number", which doesn't solve the problem at hand. We were told to wait 15 minutes and we were allocated a room which was scary. we only had one towel and 1 tissue that was almost finished, no shower gel or soap. We requested for towels but never received any. Breakfast ends at 10:30 but by 10:00 already the food was finished. I have been here before and enjoyed my stay but this time it...

Friendly staff they have and the Rooms are clean, comfortable and safe. I have few few things against the managements of the hotel. Can you please replace those iron and ironing boards please. I burned my shirt just the morning before my interview and it and the only 1 i had. Those iron are dirty and not safe. Secondly your TV serves no purpose because the signal its sooo bad and the TV for me feels like im watching something on my phone. Please management. Thank you in advance but im still not settled that your iron burned my shirt.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and it was conveniently located and quiet, I however feel that the hotel needs a makeover, especially the rooms that look a bit dated and dull due to the fittings and bathroom fittings as well as the old wooden floor, the air conditioner are also noisy. The carpet on the walkways looks cheap and untidy and needs replacement. I guess the lock-down might had an impact on cash flow and as soon as things recovers the owner will give it a modern touch and feel.
