Pin Oaks Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in Gauteng

On the recommendation of a friend we booked at Pin Oaks. Wow! What a find. We were upgraded to the apartment which had absolutely everything we needed from soap & shampoo in the shower to a dishwasher and microwave in the kitchen as well as an outdoor courtyard area. Although we only stayed one night, the apartment would work really well for a much longer stay because it has everything one needs for this. It is evident that a lot of thought and care has gone into the kitting out the apartment. A huge bonus was secure parking behind a gate.||We ordered breakfast and were so glad we did as it was plentiful. Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Johannesburg! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner (Irene). Both her and staffs were extremely friendly, the area is very convenient and can be reached easily, Irene was very helpful with directions ||||Note, this is not a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. Was great to stay at Irene's beautiful guesthouse again. I stayed in the garden cottage this time. It had been redecorated and had everything for a very comfy, warm stay. Has a firm queen size bed. Quiet and peaceful. Great view over the expanse of immaculate garden and swimming pool. I enjoyed watching 2 ducks come for a dip and a waddle at the pool each morning.
