Earthbound Guest House — Hotel in George

One of the most beautiful places I ever stayed in. Very tastefully decorated, with attention to detail - the outcome is so amazingly beautiful, you want to stay longer. Rooms have a lot of space. Showers very comfortable - walk in showers. Each bedroom has a private patio, table and chairs as well as a fridge. The breakfast room is open 24/7 to use what ever you need (microwave and dishes). The guesthouse has a swimming pool area with comfortable chairs. The garden is so neat and lovely to walk around. Wake up with the sound of birds in the morning. It is super clean everywhere. And the best is the breakfast (included) good coffee, fruit, muesli and yogurt bowl, warm breakfast with eggs, beacon, sausages, mushrooms (it changes every morning), toast and take away muffins. Thank you Marie for a wonderful 5 days - we will be back again. Room number 3 is the most beautiful of all 6 rooms - we were there with family (booked 3 rooms). Marie and her team are the best. My second time at her guest house. We love it - will be back...

What an incredible stay! My family and I needed a guesthouse for the weekend. We first booked at Karoo Sun, however, they moved us to Earthbound Guesthouse, and I am not upset one Bit!! Much better guesthouse. The service was fantastic. Marie Greeted us when we came in the evening, showed the rooms, and explained the breakfast the next morning. Ayla greeted us the next morning at breakfast and phoned Cango Caves on behalf of my family for a tour. Their Breakfast is outstanding for the price. They give a muffin, starter and a main, served with Coffee/tea and juice. There was always a smile on the host face, and if you needed anything they were there very quickly. I love the communication. Will definitely make this my guesthouse when going back...

We had such a wonderful (2 night stay) at Earthbound. We really did feel at home. At one stage I even accidentally called it "home"🤭

Ayla is such a great hostess and extremely accommodating. She even went out of her way to keep an 👁 on our dog-child while we popped out to visit the Caves. Nothing was too much to ask!🌟

We were happily upgraded to a bigger room on our 2nd night and didn't have to pay a lot extra. Was definitely a highlight of our trip staying there.

Will without a doubt be back and HIGHLY recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for the best place to stay in Oudtshoorn💗🦚
