Feather Nest Guest House — Hotel in George

First of all the rooms are beautiful. It is a lovely place to stay and the beds are comfortable. Unfortunately we received a very rushed welcome where we were only shown the rooms, very dry, and the owner rushed off as soon as possible. The ‘family suite’ is also not a room as expected, it’s the upper level of the house where other guests can see you sitting on the sofa when they enter the house.|The pool was not like in the picture. A disappointment to say the least!||No access to the pool even though the ad clearly says there's a pool. We could hardly make use of air-conditioning as they were 'refurbished and break easily' as said by the owners, yet the ad clearly says there's air-conditioning. The electricity that continually "triped" when the air-cons were on.||The house was extremely hot inside and outside and not being able to use the air-con for the entire day made this an extremely unpleasant stay. ||Its really fair towards customers when holiday accommodation is...

A place I would never visit again. Property is advertised as having a pool under amenities but upon arrival was informed that we may not use the pool.|Aircons (which is a necessity in that heat) apparently cannot be switched on all day, electricity "tripped" quite a few times (affecting only aircons and kitchen). |False advertising to pay for a place and then be told that certain things are excluded and when the aircons may be used.
