Mes Amis Beach Guesthouse — Hotel in George

While our stay was definitely 5 star, our experience was immeasurably better. The kindness, knowledge and positive energy of our hosts, Vanessa and Paul, was on another level from the moment we drove in. The staff likewise - Myna is a gem, we looked forward to seeing and speaking to her in the mornings. The accommodation is wonderful, with amazing views, plenty of subtle details and conversation pieces to keep you engaged. It's very safe, quiet, comfortable and conducive to high quality rest and relaxation. Then there's beautiful Wilderness. You get direct access to the best and quietest, long stretch beach I've seen in SA, and just a short drive to the restaurants. Knysna and George are also a short drive away. A few days later, we are still on a high and feel refreshed. We will definitely go back when we need another...

Beautiful room with incredible view directly on the sea. to the beach there are only a few steps, umbrellas are available at the reception. the whole beach has belonged to us as good as alone. the entire house is very coherent and thoughtfully decorated, beautiful pictures and cozy atmosphere. the breakfast is great, fresh fruit, eggs, everything your heart desires. the restaurant recommendations can be trusted very much! especially salinas and Joplins has tasted very good to us. the hosts are super friendly and fulfill every wish. pool area very gepfelht and invites you to relax. Security completely harmless, we slept with the balcony door open and listened to the sound of the sea. Also the location is perfect for trips along the garden route. we enjoyed it very much, thank you!...

What an incredible experience and beautiful location. The rooms are beautiful and Vanessa, Paul and their Manager Cat are incredible hosts.

The views are spectacular. Lying in bed with the sound of the ocean is just so special.

Breakfast was more than I expected. The omelette was spectacular. The staff friendly and accommodating.

What an incredible beach. Walking along the beach is therapeutic. I wish we could have stayed longer. This is a great base to explore George and Knysna and the rest of the Wilderness and the entire Garden Route using this as your base. Vanessa recommend a great hike along the Touws river to a spectacular waterfall. The scenery is incredible- I felt like I was walking in a scene of Jurassic.
