Meurant Self Catering — Hotel in George

This was undoubtedly the best self catering units I have been to for multiple reasons. I've made the booking because I just needed a place to sleep for a wedding, but it had to have a pool because of the weather conditions expected and to my surprise I've booked at the most tranquil with an awesome view and was hosted by the friendliest lady. This place is amazingly clean and the meticulousness goes down to the finest detail, especially the upkeep of the premises and amenities. Saturday I asked if people can just quickly come and meet me and the lady were so nice and said we can use the pool and the braai facilities and they can stay, no terms and conditions. She is always available via whatsapp and goes 10 extra miles to make your stay superb. Unfortunately I've only used the pool, but I will for sure be back and enjoy the true potential of Meurant and eat again as much of that berries(or whatever it os called). My parents regularly travel by road between Plettenberg Bay and CPT via the N2. Until after COVID, they traversed through Riversdale as quickly as possible. However, the town center is not on the N2, but off on 2 Meurant Street. They now deliberately travel through Riversdale to stay at the Meurant Self-Catering accommodation. We enjoyed our visit very much. The rooms are, in spite of Covid-19 measures, very neat and well equipped. The view from our room was the, well-known, Sleeping beauty mountain.
