I had the pleasure of staying at Pelican Lodge from the 23rd to the 31st of August, in the Deluxe King Room 8. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and made to feel completely at home.|The room itself was spacious, well-appointed, and immaculately maintained throughout my stay. The king-sized bed was extremely comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing – perfect for unwinding after long days. Small touches in the room showed real attention to detail, which I truly appreciated.|What really stood out, however, was the hospitality of the owners. Their warmth, friendliness, and genuine care for their guests went above and beyond what I expected. They were always available to assist with anything I needed, offered great local recommendations, and made sure every part of my stay was enjoyable. It felt less like staying at a lodge and more like being welcomed into someone’s home.|Pelican Lodge is truly a gem, combining comfort, charm, and outstanding hospitality. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area, and I look forward to returning again...

We were booked in the self service flat, not the B&B. The flat is clean, comfortable and very homely with a daily cleaning service. Good location if aiming to travel around in the area with minimal time spent at the flat. Wouldn't like to hang around the flat the whole day as it has an outside area with seating but it is not private at all aa it is next to the entrance and close to the sidewalk with a low fence. There is a braai area at the swimming pool which is on the other side of the garden. The braai area can be used by those in the flat as well as the b&b clients. It is one street away from the main road and there is a pub/restaurant across the street but it is not too noisy. I prefer a more quiet and private holiday but the flat was good enough as some place to relax between excursions and visiting family in the area. There is space for only one car to park on the premises at the back door. Make sure you confirm whether you can get the parking as the rest of the clients park on the sidewalk. They had space for...
