Wilderness Beach Views — Hotel in George

Sonja & Newton are absolutely amazing hosts, they make it feel like you’re visiting family! My fiancé and I spent two nights there and the highlight was the friendliness they greet you with at breakfast. They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. Newton definitely makes the best breakfast we have had in a long time. They are definitely irreplaceable to the owners of this establishment. We could hear the tv of the couple next door when we were in our bedroom but it’s not the worst, the rooms in some senses need a bit of an interior change but honestly with views like that and all the surroundings, you hardly spend time in the room.

Our 2 businesses used this place out of convenience but never again. Newton, the caretaker / manager is disgustingly rude, hostile and aggressive even refusing our CEO access to the property because arrival was 15mns ahead of schedule.

Our black / African female staff felt intimidated upon arrival by his belligerent conduct and his half-dressed self. He attempted to lock out access to the property and room in a drunken state.

The magic of the place are the hosts. Super friendly and welcoming. The view was just incredible.

Absolutely loved the welcoming hospitality that Newton and Sonja gave us. You must try the omelettes that Newton makes himself. You will not be sorry. The view from our room was incredible. Just the open sea ahead. The hosts offer advice on what activities you can do during your stay. We visited the Saturday market in Sedgefield and had a great time.
