I was celebrating a 2 year cancer free anniversary and I specifically chose your restaurant to celebrate the occasion. Because it was such a big day in my life, I had pre-purchased an extra special bottle of champagne to accompany my meal. Arriving at your restaurant, I asked about your corkage fee..... seeing my champagne bottle, I was told, because the restaurant also sells this champagne, my corkage fee would be the restaurant selling price of R1500. Before taking your own bottle please check their wine list because they will charge you a different corkage fee if they sell the bottle there.

I was not interested in celebrating such a momentous occassion with money grabbers like this so we left without eating, and went to Salinas down the road which only charged R75 corkage and made my special...

Confused service & overpriced.

We used to support this restaurant frequently though sadly we won't return. Prices have sky-rocketed & while this may be defendable if they have new chef & decor, the service deteriorated conversely. A burger ordered "well done" was delivered "medium rare". The wrong relish was delivered to all 4 in our party. Once we received the correct orders, the food was good though not quite up to price. The bill was split into 2 for no conceivable reason and following no discernable pattern. We had to ask 3 times before the aircon was turned down from 28degrees celsius to 17 (on a hot day). Seems to be the only fine dining restaurant in the area but has very tasty food. Compliments to the chef! We enjoyed our meals and dessert. The views are amazing and at the standard of the name. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. The free bread is very delicious 😋

The staff are friendly, chatty and welcoming.

There is some beautiful artwork on the walls for sale by local artists 👌🏾🙌🏾

Key complaint: they need to improve the cleaning. The floors were visibly dirty and seemed like they had not been sweeped for a few days. It was disappointing to see given that the place was almost empty and not busy. The stands for the table were very dusty and the top of the table was also not cleaned. This part of the experience...
