Imbali Guesthouse **** — Hotel in Greater Kokstad Local Municipality

Boked a room a week prior to arrival for myself and my husband. On arrival the receptionist was almost dismissive. Nevertheless we checked in and noted that the room had only 1 x bath towel and 1 x hand towel. I requested another set of towels as we are 2 guests. The receptionist yet again was dismissive and was busy on her cellphone. She informed us that the room has only the 1 x bath towel and the 1 x hand towel. Having had the opportunity to manage 5 star establishments I was perplexed as I could not fathom how my husband and I would have to share a bath towel. In a 3 star boutique hotel. After a 2 minute debate she finally conceded to bring up a bath and a hand towel. Something so trivial yet it undermined the beauty of the establishment and left me upset in having to argue...

We booked this lodge because the wedding party was going to stay there. We bioked three months in advance. Requested a "family room with single extra single bed for a four year old". I double checked last month and was told on email" your booking is confirmed as you requested", well no extra bed!|We had to settle for a mattress on the floor which was OK but disappointing on arrival. Then the rooms were not ready at 1pm. This is not a lodge at a cassino complex in Vagas. Then no towles or soap in the room. Then there was no hot water for our shower.
