We recently spent a few days at La Barune Guest House in Tzaneen, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their warmth, friendliness, and helpfulness—it truly set the tone for the rest of our stay.

The facilities are excellent, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to offer comfort and relaxation. Every detail has clearly been considered to ensure guests have everything they need.

One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast—it was something we looked forward to each morning! Not only was it included, but the variety and quality made it feel like a treat every day. It was clear a lot of care and creativity went into each offering.

La Baruné Guesthouse is a nice B&B located in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The guesthouse is family owned & managed and offers 7 rooms, a nice lounge, and a garden with pool. Furnishings and decoration provide a pleasant atmosphere. Complimentary parking at the property. The lady-owner is friendly & helpful. We had a comfortable room with a good king-size bed, coffee & tea facility, fridge & airco, wardrobe & safe, desk & chair, TV & good WiFi. The spacious bathroom had 2 washbasins, toilet, shower, and large bath. All was clean. Breakfast is particularly good: fresh fruits plate & yoghurt, English breakfast, eggs made to order, bread & toast, juice & jam, tea & coffee. I was traveling for work and I asked my breakfast to be packed as I was leaving early before they serve. The food was very poor for a 4 star Guesthouse. They packed 1 hard boiled egg, 2 slice of bread and 1 cherry tomato!!! I mean what happened to serving a guest atleast the same breakfast you would serve for a buffet?

Definitely not an option if traveling for work!!!
