Ivory Tusk Travel Lodge — Hotel in Greater Tzaneen Local Municipality

The ANC convention guests staying in your lodge had music blaring outside our window all night long. They were parked at our bedroom window screaming, shouting and blaring their music from their car until 5am! No staff bothered to ask them to keep quiet in respect to other paying guests. When arriving for breakfast, we were told there was no bacon, coffee or juice, but we could have eggs, tomato and a russian, which we conceded to only to be told 2 minutes later that they in fact could not give us any breakfast as they had run out of eggs too. Really a bad experience. The room was smelly and extremely hot. Aircon didn’t work. Reported it at reception. Told them the door didn’t close properly as well. A guy came and checked only the aircon. Was told he would return, needless to say he never came back. The bathroom sink had ants, the toilet cover didn’t fit. The floors were dirty. Stay 1 night at the Lodge for work purposes. Perfect location in the heart of the town and has many amenities close by, including medical services. The rooms were neat and tidy, wifi was good, bed perhaps a bit too firm but still good. We ate at the Tuskers restaurant as well, unfortunately the Waiter got my order wrong but nothing major.
