Nguni Country Lodge — Hotel in Inxuba Yethemba Local Municipality

What a dissaster! Bad Service...We've made a booking in July 2016 for the 9/10 Dec 2016 and paid it in full. an Email was sent on the 22 Nov 2016 to confirm the booking as they confirmed everything was in order. The morning of the 9 Dec 2016 a guy from another guesthouse phoned us and we were told that Mr Donovan from Nguni Lodge, Middelburg, Eastern Cape moved us to their guesthouse without consulting us first. I phoned Mr Donovan from Nguni Lodge regarding this matter and he confirmed that they've got a problem and there was no room for us. I think everybody will agree with me that this is unexceptable. Why didn't they phone us? Why send an email to confirm everything is in order. This is really unproffessional!!!!!!!Is this the quality of a four STAR? What a surprise! When you drive along in the roads of Middelburg you wonder what awaits you at the destination... Well - in South Africa we always need security and as we were travelling , pulling a caravan along - it was very important - that box ticked! The hospitable manager, Dean, was friendly and super helpful in getting us sorted and explained everything in detail. he is truly an asset for this business. Yet another excellent night at Nguni Country Lodge! Ideally located for a stop between Jozi and Garden Route with my family.

Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and breakfast pack that was provided due to early departure were delicious and very much appreciated since we missed a sit down breakfast.
