Blue Banana Lodge — Hotel in King Sabata Dalindyebo Local Municipality

To the Owner Maybe you did not understand my reasons for wanting to cancel, we were not happy with the services of the place. If we were satisfied we would have not taught of canceling our booking, we were even prepared to loose some of the funds but unfortunately we were going to loose all the money we paid to the third party not to you. Plz note I am not fighting with you but sharing my experience from your lodge and disappointment mind you the friend I was with was not even from EC it was her first in Mthatha. Here are my reasons. First day there was load shedding that is fine and understandable but there was no back up plan like a stove Atlist to have hot water, we had to bath with cold water after a long drive, second day all was fine, third day electricity was back waited for an hour for water because of time we ended up requesting water to bath from your ladies and it's the one light in completion who offered us a bucket that we go and get the water by our selves from the tank.

And my mistake is that I did not read or see the reviews before booking, if I did definitely I would have not booked the place.

All in all your place was clean and beautiful as shown on the pictures but Plz try to always...

Utterly dissapointed... company booking done through host Nono, guests were placed in an entirely different accomodation because the host never checked to see if she's fully booked, guests arrived to the rooms had an unpleasant smell and dirty they then demanded to be placed in different rooms so they were but wasn't any better the showers weren't working and was filthy, I demanded back a refund the host was quick to give one but then guests decided to stay the 1st night because they were tired and late and decided to take a shower, keep in mind I booked for 2 nights so she sent refund next day in the morning, just to find out she just booked the guest in a random accomodation because they never had her number and she probably paid next to nothing for that place but only refunded back for the 1 day, people who are in the hospitality section should never do business like this be honest that you thought you had space instead of doing bad business because people are going to have to mention bad experiences and it will be a loss for you, also I see there are many bad reviews for this place,...

We are very upset with Blue Banana Lodge in 8 Bluegum street, Fortgale Mthatha.

the rooms are not what they appear to be as portrait on their website. they are misleading the public. the toilet does not even have a seat and there is one single bed in the room. the place is in horrible condition, dirty and the staff are rude. I can understand why people refused to pay them. I would not recommend that anybody stay there at all!! they should not even be open for business and be reported to the Tourism Board which is exactly what I am going to do right now....
