Five Burnham Guest House — Hotel in KwaZulu-Natal

We were so disappointed ! The room we were allocated was filthy and had a very tatty unloved feel about it. It was not the room that we had booked which wouldn't have mattered if the standard was the same .We left and as it was late Dec were unable to find alternative accommodation so flew home early end of holiday ruined. The service was excellent. Staff and owner made us fee very at home. Helpful in providing information on surrounding area. Venue was close to an abundance of restaurants and beach. Further more it was very easy to get on main roads.The bedrooms were extremely comfortable with all one would need. Plenty of recreational areas outside of bedrooms.It was a business trip but would also recommend for a family trip as well. Not suitable for very young children but...

Fantastic guest house, brilliant hospitality, Hilary looked after us like we were her children! She was so accommodating the entire time, and even drove us to the town centre so we could go for dinner. She gave us the best advice for everything to do in Umhlanga.

The house itself is awesome, rooms were perfect and kept so clean and tidy with the house staff doing everything for us!
