Maison H Guest House — Hotel in KwaZulu-Natal

Travelling alone, I did a one night stopover to break my journey and my only regret is I could not stay longer. Claude is a kind, friendly and professional host. As a vegan, the breakfast was the best I have ever experienced - real vegan sausages (as opposed to vegetarian), the room was ample, graciously decorated and very clean & comfortable.

What made me feel especially at home were the two dogs that Claude had rescued - so friendly and guarded my breakfast from any inquisitive monkeys in the morning.

The guest house is in a secure location and I enjoyed an evening jog from there, along the lovely promenade and back again. There is a wide choice of restaurants and shops a comfortable...

So glad I booked Maison H, it was my moms birthday and it was exactly what I was looking for. From the moment you arrive Deb and Claude get you settled in and are such wonderful hosts. Deb very kindly put us in room 1 even though I had booked room 2. What a kind gesture for my moms birthday. It's like a mini apartment with a stunning large room, little outside seating area, mini kitchen and huge bathroom. It's spotless and so pretty. You can choose what you'd like for breakfast and it was delish. Could not have asked for a better stay at this beautiful, quaint and charming guest house! The hospitality of hosts Debbie and Claude was honestly above and beyond - they were warm, friendly and ready to help in any way possible. In terms of accommodation, the rooms were beautifully decorated, equipped with clean and crisp sheets / towels, making you feel the level of quality you could only hope for in a guest house.
