The most amazing stay. My first, my Mom has stayed at many different guest houses. For her this one stands out as it is so homely, relaxed, heart felt welcoming and the attention to detail is so subtle yet striking. They go out their way to cater for all your needs. This is deffinately HOME away from HOME!! When you are on the premises you are surrounded by your own little nature paradise. Birds chirping and you can almost hear the plants growing. You would never think that you are so close to town. The breakfast was just yum yum yum. You feel as if you are the only one their with you personal chef and host... but at the same time it feels like you are again HOME!

SWITCHING OFF CAME NATURALLY... We left feel recharged physically, and mentally. Definitely what we needed, and a must visit and stay!!!

If i wanted to stay on a filthy side road from a main street i would have stayed at home.

It felt like we were staying in a servants' quarters and we needed to go to the main house for access to pool (which i never saw because i stayed in the servants quarters).

Absolute waste of money. Booked for 2 nights came home after the 1st night. Would have left immediately if it wasnt for the drive....Not for families. REALLY FEEL ROBBED OF WHAT SHOULD HAVE AN AMAZING FAMILY WEEKEND AFTER BEING LOCKED...

What a lovely place. Clean, convenient, relaxing, accommodating and friendly. The place is amazing the staff are amazing and the owmers are the most amazing people. Always helpful and treats you like you have met many times before even if it was ur first time. I will recommend Gubas De Hoek anytime. The price is right and the vibe is even beter.
