Marina Views Guesthouse — Hotel in Madibeng Local Municipality

This was the worst experience I had ever encounted , first they booked us in a Room which is not even on their website , that room reeked , had mole on the ceilings , cupboards were falling and lets not talk about it being secluded and having an awful smell as if it only got cleaned because we were coming , it is probably a room for one of the workers , when we complained they did not even bother finding out what the problem was they only resorted us to cancelling telling us the whole place is fully booked whereas the appointment sheet only had our names clearly we were the only guests there, we felt a bit disrespected when we were told we can cancel only to find out that they have to approve the refund not bookings.com , we had to then go back and find out about our refund as bookings.com stated the cancellation cost would be the booking cost , imagine if we had left without finding out they wouldnt have approved our refund request, the owner did not even want to come out to speak to us & funny thing ? ke motho as much as my partner and I !!! The service from the staff and owner was apaulling, they were so nonchalant and had no care in the world , save your money and DO NOT EVEN GO THERE !!! They know nothing about...

The property is beautiful and has a very nice view to the lake and mountains. A peaceful place and I will definately go back. Lisa welcomed us very warmly and showed us around. Enjoyed the evening out with a braai. The pool was clean but it was a cold day so we couldn't take a swim. Although there was load shedding in the evening we did not feel it much cause there is a generator. I love watching movies before I sleep at night. There is a smart tv with nice movie and music apps.

We were able to take a boat ride just less than 4km from the property.

I just propose you get insect repellent for the mosquitoes if you enjoy...

Me and my partner had a great stay here. The place is wonderfully located, right next to the damn and next to a great restaurant where you can get a wide range of cuisine. The lady there was great with communication and assistance with a range of our needs. There is a generator for loadshedding which only affects hot water but everything else is great!
