This place is an absolute gem, you just need to know, you have to get a code from the restaurant to enter te gate, otherwise they will not let you in. But other than that, the place is so lovely. The dam view is amazing and the food is a decent price. The cocktails on the other, oh my word they are massive. Absolutely huge. A jug is a 1,5 L drink and the fishbowl thing is almost 3L.. definitely worth the price and amazing. We just got the jug today, as we went here on a wim for our 7 year anniversary breakfast. The servers were awesome and fast, the burgers were very nice and the chips amazing. When we paid everything and almost stood up, my boyfriend said thank you to the waiter for making our anniversary special, and the waiter then insisted to bring us a free slice of cake as he did not know it was a special day. That was so so nice of him and made the day even more special. This place is really a hidden gem, bit hard to get someone on the phone, but once you are in, you will Absolutely not...

Superb lakeside cafe and restaurant with stunning evening views, delicious food with large portion sizes, and superb service.

Lots of vegetarian options on the menu and a great selection of drinks, especially local G&Ts. Once you discover this relaxing place with chill vibes, you won't be looking for other places to dine at again, nearby.

If you visit in winter or autumn, be aware of the chill, though they do have indoor dining, and a pizza oven that doubles up as a fireplace. 😁

Note that the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Which is understandable but such a pity. It is the kind of place you'd love to hang out at daily.

The restaurant also has an upper deck with a television (if you want to catch a live game), and a play area for kids. Do visit. This cafe is inside a...

Might be a harsh rating, but sometimes it’s quite easy to see when management simply don’t put much care or consideration into the customer experience, and we felt this today.

Views are great! The dam is stunning no doubt, but the restaurant highly under delivers on this experience, for itself and customers.

Music can be improved, service can be a more efficient, and general cleanliness can not be overlooked - like washing windows at least.

Also we would of loved to sit upstairs, but waiters actually advised against it because of the sun - why not try get more umbrellas? This could be a huge plus for the restaurant and customers :(

Huge huge potential, but there is a sense that owners have given up and it’s slowly dilapidating…

Simple advice from a friendly...
