Wow...what a fantastic venue! Perfect in every way...||The Blue Room accomodation was outstanding and I really enjoyed the scrumptious breakfast served on the porch overlooking the stunning gardens. ||The kitchenette was well equipped with complementary milk, coffees, rusks and other yummy treats supplied. ||Furnishings including the bed, the work desk, lounge and cupboard space were all excellent. ||The cherry on top, however, was the host, Ros and her team who made me feel very spoilt indeed. They went out of their way to accommodate my requests and to assist where I needed support. ||All in all...a highly recommended stayover...and the one that should be your first choice when visiting...

Our family has stayed at Fiddlewood Fields for both short and long periods of time and the service has been consistent throughout. We've enjoyed Rose Cottage and Butterfly Cottage; both have been very comfortable, have self-catering facilities and are serviced daily. We have taken full advantage of Liz & Beauty's catering skills and enjoyed having our dinner delivered every weekday of our extended stay. It was my first time back to Makhanda (I grew up knowing it as Grahamstown) after 20 years, this time with my family. We spent a week in town, attending the Arts Festival. Ros was superb from my first contact with her. We felt right at home from the time we walked in to our cottage, which was prepared 'to the T'. Room service was excellent, the quaint garden was manicured to perfection, and great care was taken to ensure our comfort at every point. What a special place – Thank you Ros. It was the best...
