Room didn’t have towels at check in - so we had to ask Wi-Fi was super spotty so didn’t work - this was needed since I had some work to do
And then there’s the creepy crawlers In the room is a big can of bug spray We took that as a sign and closed all the windows as soon as we checked in
In our room we started with an array of spiders - counted about 9-10 In the middle of the night we were awaken by a cockroach (about 5cm length)
Finally to top it off - after a super uncomfortable sleep (bed was fine but just conscious of the bugs!) - we were greeted in the morning by a Gecko inside our room

Read moreWe stayed here a couple of weeks ago and it was our first time in South Africa and at Jorn's. We were absolutely blown away with how beautiful this B&B was. Each room is large and spacious and individually decorated and unique with an African theme. The rooms and grounds are immaculate. The bar is also African themed and a place you want to hang out in. The restaurant also very welcoming and cozy. The food is quite delicious with good size portions. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night but would have liked to stayed a few days more. The location was excellent and made it easy to explore the surrounding area.||||Breakfast was delicious and satisfying, although we would have appreciated a bit more variety in the options.
