Mozambik Nelspruit — Restaurant in Mbombela

I have heard alot of amazing positive reviews about Mozambik Nelspruit and have been dying to try it out. We arrived at 11:10 they only open at 11:30 but the manager welcomed us in and offered us a drink and said we could order at 11:30. Our waiter was friendly and recommended a few items. We ordered the chicken curry and the fish and calamari combo with Coconut Rice. As well as cocktails that came with complimentary glass straws we could take home. The curry was creamy with just a hint of burn it was absolutely delicious and a very generous portion. The fish and calamari was tasty and well cooked. The atmosphere, general friendliness and vibe of the restaurant made it an amazing lunch, we will definitely be back. On a side note one of my rings came loose and our waiter Rob found it, when I called the restaurant to ask if it was found they advised our waiter found it and was keeping it safe until I was able to collect it. The staff need to be trained properly before a shop opens its doors. I ordered a sole and I got hake. That is a very big mistake. After that was replaced with the sole a asked for knife and fork again and the waitress brings a steak knife to eat fish with. I only got my extra lemon butter sauce just before I completed my meal. This is a new place, yes, I understand but with this in mind they must be chasing the cash as the place was fully booked and people sitting very close to each other. Place was very busy, but every table was well situated so as to not feel crowded. You barely noticed that there were many others. Service was great!! Never had to wait to long for anything. Food didn't take too long to be prepared. Our waitress was amazing, friendly and always making sure we were ok without feeling like she's interrupting us every 2 minutes. The food was delicious, makes me wonder why I took so long to try out the restaurant. Parking is a bit sparce during peak hours, so you'll need to get there early or opt to go on a day that's less busy
