Lowveld Living Guesthouse — Hotel in Mbombela

We attended a golf event and this hotel / guest house is situated close to the Mbombela Golf Club. The rooms are basic but clean and the bed comfortable. The shower in the bathroom also adequate. Rooms are adequate but small with no cupboards for clothes - instead an open hanging space and open space for packing your underwear and clean clothes. Rooms are close to the car park and can be noisy. ||Breakfast is good. The only negative is that they offer you coffee and cuppuccino with breakfast but then present you for a bill for the cappuccino when they don’t charge for the coffee. This when both the coffee and cappuccino come from the same machine. There is a good restaurant on the property and very popular. Tables are limited so book in advance. Came in late but Restuarant staff helped us in. Rooms have a King size bed and plenty of pillows. Big scream tv with full DSTV. Bathroom has a toilet shower and wash up basin. Small bar fridge for keeping something cold. Lots of plugs to keep everything charged. Some Sherry for the cold in the room. Lots of parking inside. Well equipped kitchen and friendly staff is only the beginning of your restaurant experience. Very well layed out floor plan and a good stocked see through wine cellar. Breakfast was great. What a special place in an unexpected location; it's perfectly situated for a special evening without having to drive out of town. The ambience of the restaurant is stylish with beautiful modern elegance. Everything from the front door to the restroom speaks of attention to detail. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and knowledgeable regarding the menu options. The food is good! We had the pork belly and lamb chops; both delicious and perfectly prepared and beautifully served. This can easily be a favourite favourite place to enjoy...
