Jatinga — Hotel in Mbombela

I am from Canada and my wife and I honeymooned in South Africa in 2012. The experience at Jatinga was extraordinary. It was beautiful, peaceful and the food was excellent.

The only critique we had of our experience was getting there. Our travel agent recommended we rent a car and drive there on a "scenic road". While our experience driving the Cape was excellent, our experience going to Jatinga was horrible. Once we debarked from a very turbulent plane in Hoedspruit, we found ourselves constantly being pulled over by South African police looking for bribes.

If you can get there yourself give Jatinga a try, if someone says you should rent a car, take a pass it's not...
