MAGISHA GUESTHOUSE — Hotel in Mbombela

My wife and I enjoyed a very good week at Magisha with host Felix and staff Lucas and Maria. Nothing was too much trouble and any request was soon fulfilled. At the time of our visit there were national power cuts which made things difficult at times but Magisha has it's own generator. Our first evening we wanted to eat out and Felix very kindly offered to take us and fetch us to save us driving in the dark in an unfamiliar town. The room was a nice size although the bathroom a little small but served us well for the week. We arrived on Friday evening and there was load shedding from 1am Saturday to which the power never came back. They do have a generator but it could not keep up with the duration of the outage. We woke up in the morning and water was stone cold so we checked out and left without having bathing. Also when people are talking outside then the sound does get to the bedrooms which disturbs our sleep.
