Melkbosstrand Bed and Breakfast — Hotel in Melkbosstrand

When you go to a B&B you expect just that and not a whole lot more. And considering the Price we paid we were not really that optimistic. But we were wonderfully surprised. this place was GREAT the service was better than anything I've had at any Hotel or B&B here in the USA. Our Plane was delayed and we only made it to the B&B around 12am they were so courteous they were waiting up for us and helped carried our bags to our room. the whole time we were there our host made us feel like we were family. The Breakfast is outstanding, i am not a breakfast person but this breakfast I ate. the room we had was very clean, it was cleaned every day. the security was excellent, My room had a cabinet with a lock and key where I stored all our important stuff. I was never worried that it would get tampered with. Lots of space to hang and store clothes. aircon, little fridge, microwave, sink, eating utensils. As a first time visitor to Melkbosstrand I was wary of what my accommodation would be like. I shouldn't have worried I landed on a gem. I was greeted by the owner and at once I felt at home. I was given a superior room which wouldn't be out of place in a top class hotel. Effectively cleaned daily, I came back in the afternoon to a well presented room. At breakfast the owner was again on hand to have a chat. That along with her friendly staff and the full English breakfast made the event really pleasant. The location is 5 minutes from the beach and resteraunts so couldn't be in a more favourable place.|All in all this was a great place to stay, I couldn't fault it if I tried. When I go back there will be no other place I'll be looking for...
