Mira Beach Club — Hotel in Milnerton

Worst experience ever! And that on my birthday of all days. We booked for lunch on 29.09.2024, which was advertised from 1pm to 4pm. Our drinks were served at 1h45, the waitress didn't even know that KWV wasn't a whisky, inexperienced much! I asked her what time lunch was gonna be served. She went to go find out and said 3h30. What? I told her but how is that possible and I want a refund because it's my birthday and I'm expecting people at home at 4 pm. She then brought the Chef, Nicholas, who kept on apologizing and saying it's his fault, etc... I told him we have to leave if we're only gonna eat at 3h30 and I asked him for a refund. He then said he must speak to his agent about that. My one daughter who was sitting next to me is an actress and I told him she will most certainly not bring her celeb friends here, and he was like pointing to some girls on couches, saying, those are my influencer friends, they have my back. I've never seen them before, if you're not on tv then you're not famous, so don't come tell me about influencers. A very unfriendly lady then came to us, the agent, and said it's fine if you wanna leave, you can leave. I then told her yes we would leave but we wanted the money back, we would pay for the drinks but we wanted a refund. She then said she would refund us. Then I said, "How are you gonna refund my daughter if you don't even have her bank account details. I said, "Give us your email," and she was a bit annoyed because she wanted my daughter's email, and I insisted on giving yours too. She eventually gave her email address, and we left. You want to support these people, but that was really unprofessional. My time is my time! Just because you are running late doesn't mean that I have time to sit around and wait until you are ready to serve the food. This place will never see us again,...

The perfect vibe for a chilled Sunday. Mira Beach Villa & Spa on Woodbridge Island is a great venue with its own hotel and restaurant, which can now also be booked for private events.

The historic, stylishly furnished villa with its beautiful outdoor area offers enough space for larger groups and is suitable for an exclusive Braai afternoon with friends as well as for the next big birthday party or a casual networking event.

From the terrace you have a great view of the sea and Table Mountain, with private access directly to the beach. The staff were very friendly and always eager to fulfill even unusual (cocktail) requests in the best possible way - thanks again for my Moscow Mule, it tasted very good.

My highlight last Sunday, however, was the pool with a view, which provided the necessary cooling on this hot day and thus contributed to a relaxed beach club feeling. All in all, it was a lekker afternoon for me in the best of company and in a very special location.

I'm already looking forward to the next event, I'll be attending at the Mira Beach...

Not the money worth you will spend for!! -Room wasn‘t clean -Not a single chair to sit in the room -No possibility to make coffee or tea in the room -Welcome was allright but no reception everything goes via whats app or you have to search for the lady in the whole villa -No light in front of the dirty mirror in the bathroom -Breakfast was a bad joke….absolutely loveless…we went out after the first day No possibility to use the pool, Glassplitter of the silvesterparty were around the pool during the three nights/days we stayed
