Mino Guest House — Hotel in Msunduzi Local Municipality

I booked at Mino Guest House on my wedding day as I wanted a quiet alone evening with my new husband. When we got there people were screaming drinking and partying. Our room was separated by just a window from the lounge area and the area where the party was happening so there was no way we were gonna have some quiet time. The owner was kind enough to move us to a more private area in the premises only for the party to be moved to where we were at around 2am. There was banging most of the night and loud music, it was not a good experience at all. Given this issue I assumed we would be granted a late check out the next morning but that was not the case in order to leave later we were told by the housekeeper that we need to rebook and then told by the owner that it will be a extra charge for just for an hour later. The room are amazing, the premises is beautiful. However I will never book at Mino Guest...

The shower and toilet seat are in the same place.Yeah you read that right. As you shower the water is draining very slowly because the floor is designed for a toilet not a shower. You have to use the toilet bowl to brush your teeth-no sink. You cant wash your hands after using the loo. You have to hire a normal glass for R50 as there are no utensils.The microwave didnt have a warming glass plate and the receptionist could not...

I helped a friend book a stay for her and her partner, and unfortunately, she had a terrible experience.
