We loved everything about this place. It is situated in a quiet part of the little St Lucia town with a rustic and relaxed vibe. The accommodation was comfortable, rooms were well equipped and the surroundings were kept very neat. Beautiful indigenous trees in the garden make you feel connected to nature. The lodge is located next to St Lucia lake so you can expect to see Hippos walking through the garden at night or in the early morning hours. Please do not forget to maintain your distance from them if you happen to see one during the stay. We would like to express our deep gratitude to Andre for his hospitality and responsiveness! Awesome place, Andre the host was so helpfull and very knowledgeable about the area, the town and the garden. He offered to help out where he could and pointed us to the best places. His garden is beautiful place, well managed and really cool in temperature. A manicured jungle, captured between two properties that is held open, no fences, for the animals to move as they like. The contagious passion Andre has for nature is intriguing. We only had time to stay 2 nights otherwise I would've learned so much more. Paradise we found our little heaven on this earth in Lake St Lucia lodge. We have been going to St Lucia for many years and we always drive past this place. We desided to book. I can tell you the best place to stay. Andre and Thea the owners is very helpful. He knows the environment and is a keen gardener and fisherman. Everything you need is in the units.
