Welcoming, clean, and friendly . I suggest taking lots of fruit , birdseed and game pellets, as we've been visited by every animal ( but lion, hyena and leopard) 😁 The little bushbabies and thick tailed bushbabies just love their bananas every evening. Lovely splashdown to cool down in and walk and trail paths right by your units. ours was no. 5. Oh, and persona guard, the wildebeest sleeping out by the door at night. Recommended to all who want t9 have the peace and animal experience in this camp. Will definitely be back !!!!!!

Made booking 3weeks before Arrival. Paid full in fact was a bit shocked that the person we a made booking with gave us like 6hours to pay the full amount for 4days and not 24hours or 48hours so we made full payment as we realy liked the info about the place they've send us and also asked for Cleaning Services to be arranged (at extra cost) all same time we made booking. It was confirmed that its been arranged.

So excited for our 4days but so disappointed in the hospitality service and wrong info we received.

On arrival you collect your key in a safe box next to the front door, we discovered the outside area and pool not to be 100% clean. We rush to the shop to buy doom as the outside area was full of ants coming out of the wood deck and poles and piece full sleep was not strong enough. Even with the doom the ants moved into the house. When we wanted to take a shower they never opened the gas for one side of the house and had to phone for assistance.

The info we got clearly said back up generator when loadshedding well to our suprise we never had any power when it was loadshedding NOTHING. Also if it's working its not full back up power only fans and some plugs and lights. (Would have been nice to have as it was promised in the info we received so did not pack our own backup lights)

It also said Aircon in the rooms but they do not tell you before Arrival you only allowed to use the Aircon for 8hours out of 24hours!!! This is ridiculous why don't you just put pre-paid meters on aircon so we can then pay extra if we have to for Aircons. How do you expect guests to pay R18 000 but cannot use Aircons when needed. Marloth Park is extremely hot and not only for 8hours per day. If you have a baby or small children you cannot let them have a nap in the afternoon with Aircon because tonight there is no Aircon facilities if you used it during the day.

The next suprise we got is the cleaning service we arranged (before Arrival) never showed up untill today the person in charged that we send a msg to never responded to us to say Sorry or let cleaning person come the other days they simply just ignored us.

Second Day we still could not sit outside as Ants is still running the whole deck we also asked for something for the Ants and also did not get an response. Lucky it started to rain and it was better.

Showers are blocked and Shower Curtains is very dirty at the bottom. Some of the plates in the kitchen we had to wash again on the first night as they not cleaned properly after pervious guests. Wifi was more off than it's was working.Nobody control the noise and music of other guests.

Here you pay and just get dumped into a house and they not intrested in hospitality...

NO ELECTRICITY, NO REFUND, NO APOLOGY. After a six hour drive, my family arrived at the Kruger Wild Dog Inn on a stiflingly hot afternoon (44 degrees) to discover there was no electricity and no indication when it would return. We were offered a few candles for light and were told that a small generator would eventually be set up to provide us enough power for a small fridge - but no fans, no lights, and certainly no A/C. After waiting hours in the dark and the stifling heat, we could bear it no more and fled to alternate lodging. The management claims power was restored soon after we left, but if true, no one bothered to contact us to offer us the option to return. Polite requests for a refund were ignored, and at no time was any regret or apology expressed for our miserable experience. The facilities seemed well appointed and nice and we might have had a great time there, but it is clear the management cares neither about its guests nor its reputation for customer service, so we will...

What a lovely facility. Guys please just beware if you want to watch full dstv as they advertised...it's full open view satellite tv. The handicapped ramp that has been put in place to access the splashpool is at about 40 degrees instead if 12 degrees according to the OSH act. This makes it quite impossible for a wheelchair bound visitor to get to the pool and quit dangerous if someone tries to assist. The pool is tile with glazed white shower tiles (super slip and non grip) also not good for handicapped visitors, actually not good for anyone that may be less sure footed. The door openings are standard which makes wheelchair access possible but not perfect. I tend to harp on about handicapped access because I have 2 handicapped daughters so affects me a lot more than most. On the whole the experience was really nice and the facility comfortable...
