Oceangolf — Hotel in Noordhoek

We booked a family sleep over for a wedding on the 3rd of February 2024. First, we received a call that there was a double booking -- moments later we received feedback that all is sorted, and we have rooms -- keep in mind they charge R1 600 per room per day. I don't even know where to start. The bedding is old, and the pillow's is definitely not up to standard. The mirror is mounted to a wall and no plug nearby to do your hair. With all the lights on, the place is so dark that we struggle to see what we are doing!||A clever person once says, “To see a candle’s light one must take it into a dark place.” ||There is no aircon with a heatwave of 39degrees! When we open the door of the fridge, water was running out of it (not just a little bit)! Our children slept in a game-room and a hat put over one camera eye! At some point the manager/owner open their door to take some supplies up (he forgot that they stuffed people in there for R1 600. Your rooms are a disgrace! when you charge people R1 600 per day surely the basics should be in good order and in place??||Instead of giving us rooms in such a bad state, why not be honest with us from the beginning when you realized your mistake, or why did you not recommend or find us a different place for our stay? or drop the pricing should we agree to stay in the rooms we got?||Just a thought, I don't see the rooms we got on your website, I wonder...

A BIG THANKYOU to all the team at Ocean Golf Apartments, Noordhoek.||||||The rooms are beautifully & individually presented within fabulous gardens allowing for privacy within the establishment. ||The Manager Louise is a wonderfully thoughtful lady for whom nothing is too much trouble . In our case she managed to arrange an important medical appointment locally without fuss at very short notice. ||Her local knowledge and practical tips were both honest and accurate and we would trust her implicitly.||Louise manages a highly effective operation, on behalf of the owner, supported by Simba & Irene who are always on hand to assist . ||What remains upmost in our minds are the SMILES on the faces of everybody concerned in the day to day running of the place . ||The Swimming Pool was clean, fresh towels were provided daily, the rooms were spotless & the gardens & views to the beach outstanding .||THANKYOU for making...
