From the start of our stay, until the end, the words personal touch was written all over the experience here at 138 Marine Beachfront Guesthouse. We were spoiled and treated like royalty from the beginning. Our room was sublime, spotless clean, and everything smelled fresh and airy. Not to mentioned the amazing view from our room... A view we will never forget. The entire setting of the venue looks out over the ocean, it doesn't matter where you are in the house, the room, the balcony, the view meets you everywhere. Thank you sincerely for the special memories you created for us Desire, Jena and Louis!! The bedtime chocolates, afternoon sherry, the amazing aromatic breakfasts, the friendliness and smiles, and the welcome home feeling every time when we returned to our room, will certainly guarantee our return to this special place. Wow. A recommend to everyone who wants to silence their souls into the beauty of Sandbaai, whilst enjoying their stay at this special place....

Our stay at 138 Marine Beachfront Guesthouse was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The rooms were beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and offered breathtaking views of the ocean – waking up to the sound of waves was pure magic.

The atmosphere of the guesthouse is warm, stylish, and peaceful, with great attention to detail throughout. There’s secure parking available, and the entire place feels safe and welcoming.

The service was outstanding ,everything was done with so much care. Breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented, and even included oat milk, which we really appreciated.

The hostess was incredibly kind and attentive. We truly felt more like we were visiting a favorite aunt than staying at a guesthouse. It was personal, warm, and very special.

We had a spectacular time staying our one night in order to visit the coast and Hermanus. Everyone at the guesthouse was so extremely warm, friendly, and inviting. The guesthouse is a 5 minute drive from Hermanus and gives you a beachfront view of the South African coastline. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, and there was a huge and generous breakfast prepared in the morning.

The hosts gave us plenty of recommendations and even though it was overcast the night we arrived, it was beautiful the next morning (even in the South African winter).
