BON Hotel Rustenburg — Hotel in Rustenburg Local Municipality

Check-in time is 2 pm. We arrived at 2:30 pm. The room was not available until almost 4 pm. Moreover, the room was not the family room we booked. It was a small double room without a bathtub. The receptionist said they could provide us with another large family room, but they would have to wait another half an hour. By the time we checked in, it was already 4:30 pm.

There were chips in the drawer in the room and the table was sticky and had not been wiped clean, so we called the reception and asked them to arrange for someone to clean it.

The breakfast was fine. In fact, the staff were friendly. But the problem was that after I finished using the black pepper, I found that the black pepper inside was already moldy.

I stayed over at this establishment for work purposes and did not really make use of their leisure facikities like yhe 4 swimming pools.

I can, however, rate their rooms and other services from my experience.

The room that I had was clean and it being summer, I was greatful for an airconditioner that was working very well. I will add though that I think the room I was booked in needs an update if one considers the hotel accommodatikn rates.

The restaurant had a nice vibe to it and made me feel right at home in the bush😄. The service one the first night was good and the food was really tasty. On the second evening there were more guests and only one barman that was also the waiter and two shefs, and we unfortunately had to wait 90 mins to get our food. I have traveled alot and stayed at different accommodations. I would not stay here again nor recommend it to anyone else. For the price you pay including breakfast it is not worth it You wait long hours to even enter the hotel because there's only one staff member on the premises at night. You have to wait ages for the water to get hot in the shower. People partying playing music and making noise for most of the night so how do you fall asleep. The pools are dirty and not maintained well. At breakfast the eggs are drenched in oil and the juices are literally water and a pinch of syrup. Not much breakfast options/variety either. I've had much better breakfasts at much cheaper accommodations so i see no value for my money at this place.
