Kloofsig Holiday Cottages — Hotel in Thaba Chweu Local Municipality

Unit 4 Absolute disgrace and shocking!!!!! NOT as per pictures that's advertised! • Bedding & towels are dirty & stinks • Shower taps are dripping constantly • Rising damp in bathroom • Fridge doesn't go cold at all • Only 1 butter knife for 4 people • Stove door doesn't close properly - can't use • Roof leaks between dining & lounge area • TV doesn't work - no channels • Bulp in lamp broken (main room) • Bulp in lamp broken (spare room) • NO packing space (spare room) • Braai grid has a hole in! • Cupboards in main room was dirty (had to clean it ourselves) • Drawers next to beds in spare room was dirty & sweets papers • NO fans at all • Bath tab scew - can't run water • Roof in main bedroom is black • Music was blaring until 23:30 Saturday night • Sunday morning taxi next door was blasting music at 6:00 am!!! PLACE WAS NOT READY FOR GUESTS...

Great stay at this place ...Awesome staff that welcomed us with great warmth .Nice fully equipped houses with lovely space ..clean .Rooms are being cleaned daily wow not every places doesn't that especially when its not a hotel. My stay here was very heartwarming ....felt like am at my dream home. Quite and nice . Just wish they had a pool and few play area for kids .

Its nearby alot of activities we wanted to do .In their house they have a booklet with all the information of nearby areas ...prices,Distance and even menus of nearby restaurants.

We arrived 27th Dec 2022, the caretaker was trying to replace a lock on the door, an hour later, broken spares, did not have the right tools he was still battling, the pictures on the website are completely different, I would not recommend this establishment to anyone, we are still awaiting feedback from the owner as to a refund as we left to look for alternate accomodation. Anyone looking to book this place, please think carefully , it is...
