Absolutely loved my stay at Ihlozi Bush Lodge – truly a five-star experience in every way!

From the moment we arrived, the peace and beauty of the bush completely swept us away. The lodge is private, beautifully designed, and blends perfectly into the natural surroundings. It felt like we had our own little slice of paradise, with wildlife literally on our doorstep.

What stood out most for me was the flexibility. I loved that breakfast and dinner times were completely up to us. There was no rushing, no rigid schedules – just the freedom to relax, eat when we wanted, and truly enjoy the slow pace of the bush. That kind of thoughtfulness makes all the difference.

The attention to detail throughout the lodge was exceptional – from the stylish and spacious rooms to the outdoor showers and the cozy deck perfect for morning coffee or sunset drinks. Every space felt intentional, calming, and luxurious.

We had the most incredible stay at Ihlozi Bush Lodge! From the moment we arrived, Mel and Lyn made us feel right at home. They were so warm and welcoming, and what truly stood out was their flexibility and attention to our needs, from adjusting breakfast and dinner times to ensuring we were always comfortable.

The lodge itself is secluded, peaceful, and beautifully set in nature, perfect for a proper getaway. And the food… wow! The French toast was my absolute favorite, and my husband is still raving about the ribs and cheesy polenta delicious doesn’t even begin to cover it.

They were always available to answer our questions and went out of their way to make our experience special. It’s rare to find a place that gets both the setting and the service so right.
