Kaia Eco Lodge is more than just a great place to stay. It's a little piece of paradise that comes with a nursery, a super caring and well informed host, and the most loveliest and super-duper well behaved dog gang (attention! these dogs will melt your heart). The spacious lodges have everything you need to feel like home. The location is perfect and super quiet − doesn't matter if you come here for diving, fishing, working (WLAN is great) or just spending a relaxed time with family and friends. Make sure you ask Carlos for a tour, he's also a great guide and can show you secret spots of magical beauty. There are many options to stay in Sodwana, however, Kaia Eco Lodge is my favorite and an absolute recommendation. Our stay was fantastic. Carlos was just as helpful as the other reviews have mentioned. He gave recommendations on things to do, ran the generator for us when the power went out, and even brought us fresh fruits and veggies from his garden. Carlos went out of his way to accommodate us after a mishap on Booking.com- he got a room ready for us with very short notice and really went the extra mile to ensure we had a good stay. He also advised us on great places to visit in the area and what activities to do.
