When we first stayed at Ogwini (March 2017), we were so blown away buy the hospitality, cleanliness and "made to feel at home" feeling that we stayed at Ogwini 2 weeks later for Easter Weekend.||||We stayed in the 2 sleeper room, with the kitchenettes - and even with the size of the room - it just felt like home.||||Needless to say, we were met with the same hospitality and maybe even a little more, as now we were forming part of the Ogwini family.||||After staying with Ogwini in March and April 2017, we decided that there would be no better place to spend our Christmas and New Years and so Ogwini it was.||||The kindness, thoughtfulness and assistance we received from the Ogwini family was so overwhelming in our December visit. Gladys made sure that we were constantly looked after and happy. On Christmas Day she even brought us a little wooden Christmas tree so our morning of present opening was just that more special.||||We honestly adore Ogwini and the Ogwini family and would suggest to anyone who is looking for a extremely comfy bed, super clean rooms and phenomenal hospitality to...
Read moreWe stayed at ogwini lodge as we were doing some diving in sodwana.||||The room was comfortable with a nice bed, air con and TV. Although it stated that it was self catering the only things we had were a microwave, kettle, two cups and two teaspoons.||||We later found out that friends of ours in the same lodge were properly kitted out for self catering but we're in a room half the size of ours.||||The braai facilities and pool are very nice provided you are in a room with cooking utensils or have brought your own.||||The entertainment area is great with, a large covered lapa area with a pool table, table tennis and a dart board. ||||The signage was a little small and the gps co - ordinates were not right so we ended up doing some serious 4x4ing to find the place when actual fact it is just off the main road, and the receptionist told us to phone my diving instructor for directions (he lives in JHB).||||Over all it was good value for money and we enjoyed our stay, it was another one of my wife and...
Read moreWe went diving in Sodwana with Adventure Mania, and used Ogwini lodge as our accommodation. We were in room 31, a double bed that was huge, and extremely comfortable. The room was spotless! The bathroom was a shower, basin and toilet that was very compact. ||The accommodation said self catering, but this was not really possible in the room. You needed to use the main boma area for cooking etc. There is a fridge and microwave, 2 plate stove and toaster in the room. The 2 plate stove was balanced on top of the microwave, and was a bit dangerous. The air conditioner was working perfectly and was a godsend :-)||You need to take your own towels, which is not really mentioned in their communications.||We also had a TV in our room, but this was not connected. The TV in the other rooms were working and have SABC 1, SABC 2 and SABC 3.||All in all we had a good stay, but in terms of self catering in the small rooms, we would suggest...
