Gordon's Beach Lodge — Hotel in Western Cape

We stayed at the lodge for one night but wish we had more time to stay longer. It was a wonderful experience which we really enjoyed. The location of the lodge is perfect within walking distance to the restaurants. The owner, Antoinette is a nice and very friendly person who recommended us to try restaurant Zest which was very close to the Lodge and had delicious food for dinner. The atmosphere at the hotel is very friendly and relaxing. Our room was very nicely decorated with very comfortable bed. In the evening we enjoyed nice breeze and the sound of the waves just sitting outside our room. I have to mention breakfast which was so delicious with wide variety of options! Highly impressed with the quality of lodging and service at Gordon’s beach lodge. The accommodations are immaculate, and the staff is cheerful and friendly. Any need that you have is immediately attended to. You can ask for special Accommodations in advance and they make it happen. The free breakfast is much more extensive than we anticipated, often keeping us sated through dinner. The views of the bay, the mountains and city lights are absolutely amazing. We watched the sunset with an evening cocktail every evening, then slept in comfortable beds to rest for the next day.

Absolutely perfect in each and every way. Loved the friendly reception, mouth watering breakfast and fantastic view. Decor and ambiance will impress any connoisseur. Situated in up marked area and walking distance to beach. Left with a heavy heart but a memory to last a lifetime.
