Location: convenient. Walking distance to 2 metro stations on 2 different lines means you can cut down on some traveling time. The airport limousine bus stops near Hyundai Department Store which is just 5-10 minutes walk away (3 streets).||Staff: polite and friendly. We had caught a red eye flight there and arrived dead tired. Our plan was to camp out in the lobby till check-in time at 3pm but the kind staff there allowed us to check-in earlier at 10am which was totally unexpected. We thought we'd only get such service from a 5star place.||Sauna: love the sauna by the hotel. It's a public one so you really get to see Korean daily life. The hotel gives a complimentary entry coupon every day and we really made the most of it. Go at night around 9pm. It's less crowded and quieter so you can really chill.||Food: there are many GOOD eateries next to the hotel. The pork soup joint and the little homely place serving gimbap were our favourite haunts.||The rooms were typical size for Korean and Japanese hotels; on the small side, but they were clean. The bathroom was clean too and I love the conditioner they provided. You might have to ask for extra towels because they only provide one big bath towel and three smaller ones; not enough if you have miles of hair that you need to dry before heading out into the winter cold.||We loved our stay there. If I go back to Busan, this will once again be...
Read moreThis is a very functional hotel with the main amenities that you need...all areas are clean although ready for a redecoration. The beds are comfortable, bathrooms very adequate with bath as well as shower. It's a quiet location close to the metro station of Beomsil (turn right out of the hotel, right again at the corner and walk for 5 minutes). This is a direct line to Busan main train station. At the entrance to the metro there is also a bus stop for the airport bus. There's a lot of shopping around the hotel...mostly everyday stuff...clothes, etc etc. But also a very good selection of places to eat and mini markets (7-11 and GS25). One great plus for the hotel is the free access to the attached Korean spa - a great way to relax at the end of the day.||There is also a small restaurant attached to the hotel although I didn't eat there. For me the main selling points of the hotel were comfort and location. I would definitely...
Read moreMy wife and I stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting Busan as tourists.||Location: Very good, in a quiet side street but handy to 2 subway stations, restaurants, convenience stores, a market and a large department store. The latter contained a supermarket and an excellent food court.||Room: Standard room, but small and "tired" i.e well overdue for redecorating. Lighting inadequate / dim.||Shower: Good pressure, but difficult to set to a suitable temperature, and the extractor fan was hopeless.||Breakfast: Upon check-in we were advised that our tariff included breakfast, but this turned out not to be the case so we cannot comment on the food.||Staff: Front desk staff tried to be helpful, but provided us with incorrect information, and the standard of English left room for improvement.||Personal rating: 6/10, mostly on account of our room.||Would we stay there...
