Gwangmyeong JS Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Gwangmyeong

Overall it was a decent stay at the GM JS boutique especially for the price. Service and amenities were standard - staff were polite & hotel room had the basic amenities you need…there’s extra charge of 1000 KRW if you use the toiletries though, ie shampoo, toothbrush, etc…One thing we noticed when we entered though was the smoke smell, perhaps it had something to do with ventilation or pipes.. it was gone the day after. It was also quite dusty so our all allergies were definitely triggered for the first few days… it would be great if the room could be cleaner as well, there were some blotches on the wall/cabinet. In terms of location, it’s near a lot of restaurants, convenience stores, bus & subway station, which was good. If you’re planning on going around tourist areas, ie Hongdae, Myeongdong, Gangnam, area, the location is quite far though. When we tried to take taxis back to our accommodation, some refused as they say they don’t plan to go that far…Size of the room was quite good, spacious enough for 2 people and open up your luggage. There’s a study table with chair and a small coffee table with chair. Bed was quite comfortable. Bathroom was also spacious with a smart toilet (seat is also heated) & bidet.Would recommend this hotel for a budget friendly one & good...

This boutique hotel was surprisingly comfortable to stay at. Although the neighbourhood was slightly rowdy with drinking crowd at night and alot of eateries & bars around, the room is quiet and cosy. We stayed in a 30m2 room with a huge toilet and spacious room. The front desk manager Mr Yu is the kindest most hospitable person Ive meet at a hotel. He took time to chat with us and made us a hot drink when the weather was getting cold. The lobby is nice with an adequate seating area for traveller who need to do their work/ meet with friends. Accessibility is good with the Metro being 7mins walk and airport bus stop 5mins walk away. I recommend the 24he Kimchi Jigae with Pork eatery around the corner.....

It's not easy to find, if the first time you come.||2. The location is not good which around the night club, restaurant, KTV, ...||It's very noisy.
