101% DO NOT RECOMMEND!!Bad and unhelpful, especially to foreign tourist. Rude service. We arrived at around 12am and there werent anyone at the counter (realised its a kiosk check in and it was all good until the kiosk was not working well). Unfortunately there was something wrong with the kiosk (managed to enter everything successfully and the receipt was printed, however, no room key card came out). Ended up calling the number stated at the counter and managed to ring someone from the hotel. However, the hotel staff was so rude and unfriendly. First thing she said in korean was “I do not understand i only can speak korean” in korean (luckily i understood this with my super limited korean). Tried to use google translation on my side to speak kor, and this staff who i was speaking too ended up speaking in a very rude and annoyed tone at me (i was struggling and trying to speak nicely in a language im not familiar with but wow, she didnt even tried helping at all and she started speaking in a very rude and annoyed tone), wasnt even trying at all to help us when it wasnt even our fault. Kept telling her the machine was spoilt but she continued telling us to try again (the machine was stuck and it hanged and i told her multiple times). Thankfully a korean couple who was staying there walked into the hotel and helped us speak to the lady on the phone (even random strangers were more friendly and helpful than them lol). The couple tried following what the lady on the phone told us to do again told them that the kiosk is not working. Hotel staff ended up telling us to collect a spare card (they hid some cards somewhere near the counter) because the kiosk really did not work.101% DO NOT RECOMMEND!! unless you wanna be served by rude people and...
Read moreI wish i could give it 0 stars. I attempted to stay at this hotel. I was told that is was pet friendly, and i decided to choose this hotel because it was close to the airport and it was on the beach (maybe i could enjoy the water, relax, and have a nice view).
I had reserved the hotel a month in advance, but they waited to email me the day before check-in to tell me that there were no pets allowed. When i called them to ask what had changed, or why they didn't tell me way before this day, the representative couldn't understand me (english to korean language barrier) and i decided to go to the hotel to use a translation app or speak to a different staff member about the issue.
There were 2 kiosks and no one at the front desk. Behind the front desk, there was a number listed to call if there were issues. The person who answered the phone was the same as before. He had enough broken english to tell me that this was a "No Employee hotel." I figured that if he was speaking to me, then he existed, and he could come to the desk and stop being lazy. That did not happen.
I attempted to see if the kiosks could cancel the reservation. It asked for an ID, not to scan, but to insert into the machine, which was sketchy. What if the card got stuck and wouldn't come out? Who would come and fix it/ remove the card? I wasn't taking that chance.
I decided to stay at a different hotel with my family, and ate the $180 cost.
I recommend that no one stay here.
After thinking more about the hotel, I ask myself, what if someone rents a room, stays longer than they are supposed to, and you get issued that room? Do you walk into a hotel room with some stranger and argue on who belongs there and...
Read moreI chose this hotel because of them claiming to be pet friendly. Upon submitting my reservation, I asked whether my cats could stay the one night and the hotel responded by confirming my reservation and sending me a message stating they were looking forward to receiving us. Well, we arrived, checked in and went out to find food. Upon returning to the room, we were kicked out of the hotel because of the cats! So, here we were in South Korea for the first time, with six suitcases and two cats (it was a move) with nowhere to go. The hotel's only attempt at contacting us to tell us the cats were not welcome was a message through the Booking application that never arrived because they sent it the day before when we were already on the plane on our way to Seoul. Obviously, the message did not go through. Oh, and I made the reservation a 1.5 months in advance, so they had plenty of time to email me, call me, cancel the reservation, to do something. The location is not great. There are only a handful of places around and are not always open. Plus, the rooms are extremely tiny for two people. I wouldn't recommend at all. Even if you are not traveling with pets, the staff is not responsive and they are very...
