Manmi Restaurant — Restaurant in Seogwipo-si

Visited on 18 Oct 2019 with a group of about 56 peoples including 5 tour guides cum driver. The seafood restaurant is believed to be one of the Muslim Friendly restaurant in Jeju because there is a hardly any 'halal toyiban' restaurant in Jeju. As we are in tour group package and not sure on the price. However we were satisfied on the seafood especially the steamboat which we ordered separately for 35,000won for 4-5 persons. May be expensive but all were satisfied as its was our first time for most. This seafood restaurant is popular by Jeju Travel agents which accommodates Muslim visitors. We ordered their sea food hot pot (55,000 won ). There were 8 fresh abalone (they were still alive when we cooked them!) , octopus, lots of clams and mussels, small crab, prawns and some straw mushroom in the pot. Sufficient to be shared by 3 persons. There is a complimentary grilled fish that came with it as well. Broth was really delicious and we were so happy with the food that we went back for a second time...

This restaurant is so local. I've ordered two kinds of dishes. 'Sea urchin' mixed rice bowl and chilled raw sea shell conch bowl. Ah. It is really hard to build the name of the menu. This fact could mean this food is rarely (maybe uniquely) be seen in the west culture. You should definitely try this. No regretful.
