Shilla Stay Ulsan — Hotel in Ulsan

The room is a bit tilted so every time we take off our shoes we keep on tripping. There are 3 elevators and if you are on the higher floors, you will only be able to use 1 elevator. I had to use the desk in the room for work. I tried to use the plug on the desk side, and it turned out to be a fake plug (picture added). The only plug available was the one by the bedside. I will say the breakfast neutral not amazing but not bad either. We booked the room looking at the picture from their website and I think they just used another room photo because it did not look the same at all. There are three hotels just along the same line in the area. Definitely by far the room at this hotel (for the price) is my least favorite. Because of cancel policy, I ended up staying two nights but if I knew what I know now, I would have definitely stayed next door. Also please don’t ever exchange money at hotels. Their rates are...

Poor service. The parking was far and dirty. We were not even informed to unload the luggage in front of the hotel, hence we had to pick our luggage from the parking which was filled with water to hotel Lobby. Such reputed hotel could not have guidance to their guest or have assistance for luggage if they didn’t have parking. Moreover we were asked to wait for check in since there was a queue though the waiting was not much, if they know that hotel has booking could they have not called asked for arrival and kept the check in ready. Shilla Stay is a budget business hotel by Shilla Group. It is highly standardized decor and design as I also stayed at Shilla at Jeju. Best budget business hotel in my opinion in Korea as it is extremely clean, there is proper cleaning daily, toiletries and water/tea in room. Bed is also firm which I like but pillows are too soft.. but that's just me. Gym is opened 24/7. They even have a KRW8,800 free flow draft beer for 3 hrs in the evening.
