Truly a gem in this city. Not too far away from the center either. There is a bus that stops very closeby and to get to the station or citycenter you can take the bus that stops right infront of the hotel. When I stayed there I was very fortunate to get a room that was practically like new. The entire hotel even looked like it was new, including the exterior of the building. The hotel has a restaurant with terrace that I have not used but it looked very lovely and proper. Right away when you enter the building, you find yourself in a hall where you can check yourself in or just simply walk through the door and you will see the reception right next to you. The receptionist, not sure if he is the owner or not, but he was very friendly and helpful. There was also a lady that was exceptionally kind. The hall/lobby looked clean, modern, new, elegantly designed and decorated. As I mentioned before, my room was amazing, by far the best I had ever stayed in (and I have stayed at many many hotels in several countries), for that price. Phenomenal price-quality ratio. Probably because the room was new-ish. Everything was well-thought-out: there was a huge mirror, enough power outlets in the right places, clean towels, showergel, shampoo, nightstand right next to the bed, temperature controller system thingy, there was even a tv in my room. Absolutely brilliant. Amazing value, Such a modern, clean, spacious, comfortable hotel, with an adjacent restaurant, and in a good location with a 10 minute bus ride into town available from bus stop right outside the hotel. Good clean rooms with confortable beds. Nice ensuite. In the next-door restaurant at night it is best to make a reservation It is popular with locals. I had the Chuleton de Avila and it was delicious, The patatas fritas were some of the best in the world too. A simple breakfast is available for 5 euro. Fomos por 3 noites no fim de Setembro para celebrar as nossas bodas de prata e ficámos muito satisfeitos. Cumpriram com tudo o que pedimos, tiveram várias atenções ao cliente à chegada, como rebuçados, águas, pétalas de rosa numa cama king size e um cartão personalizado de felicitações. A limpeza é excelente, tudo cheira muito bem a limpo e perfumado. O hotel é novo, tudo a estrear. Tem grandes janelas que abrem para a rua. Fica numa zona residencial junto da rua principal que vai para o centro histórico. Tem café restaurante mesmo em baixo, no mesmo edifício, área comercial perto, farmácia, etc. Estacionar na rua do hotel é fácil e grátis. De carro chega-se ao centro histórico de Ávila em poucos minutos, pelo que foi uma excelente opção de estadia para visitar todo o centro histórico. O pessoal da recepção é muito simpático e prestável, tudo fizeram para nos ajudar, quer à chegada, quer no resto da nossa viagem, pois estávamos com problemas na recepção de anexos do hotel seguinte e até nisso nos ajudaram, abrindo o email no computador deles. O pior foi ter ar condicionado central que já estava programado para o tempo mais fresco e como Setembro é um mês de transição e nós preferimos sempre mais fresco que o normal, acabámos por desligá-lo e ficou tudo bem, sem problema. Com o tempo declaradamente frio ou quente nem há que ter isso em conta porque funciona na perfeição. A recepção fecha à noite, mas estão sempre disponíveis pelo telefone. Recebemos um código para entrar no hotel e no quarto. Escolheram como código a nossa data de casamento. Até nisso foram atenciosos. Voltaríamos a ficar lá sem reservas.
