After having read the reviews of this hotel before embarking on my trip, I was left with the impression that I was about to enter into a nightmare. However, after having spent 2 wonderful days in the hotel, I felt the need to let others know that it's a good hotel--the food, the size of the bedrooms, the decoration, the personnel, the SPA, and the price was great. ||||We chose the ¨San Valentine¨ offer for 150 euros per person. The offer included a circuit Spa (turkish baths, sauna, jets, etc.) a body wrap, a hydro-massage bath, and a 20 minute massage. As well as, a buffet lunch, a dinner, and 2 breakfast buffets. Drink included. ||||SPA--Although the SPA is a bit on the smaller size, it was definitely an adequate size and included most of the normal amenities. The receptionist was very nice and had everything well-prepared for us before we got there. Make sure you have a hat, flip-flops, and towel before entering or you do have to pay a fee or rental depending on what you need. It's no 5 star treatment but it's excellent value for what you pay. ||||ROOMS- The rooms are very big. I was particularly impressed by the bathroom that had a large bathtub. The rooms are also well-decorated and very modern. I do have to agree with some of the other reviews which talk about the thiness of the walls. We were lucky and didn't hear much noise.||||FOOD- I thought that the food was tasty. The dinner which was included in our offer was well-balanced and varied. For example, we had potato puré and asparagus with creamy mushroom sauce as the appetizers, calamar with raisins and walnuts, and an amazing pig loin, we ended the dinner with an orange sorbet and chocolate cake. The buffet included a lot of salads, fish, pasta, soups and the breakfast buffet had croissants, pastries, muffins, fruits, yogurts, etc. I didn't have any complaints...once again especially for the price.||||All in all, the hotel was good and great value for the amount of money we paid. Cogimos una oferta por traventia de dos noches con desayuno + spa para 2 personas entre semana después de la semana santa, llegando el lunes santo. Lo primero de todo, a día de hoy ya está en vigor el DNI electrónico, que sirve para identificarse igual que el físico y tienes 3 opciones para mostrar más o menos datos mediante un código QR. Para hacer el Check-in ofrecí mi QR y la recepcionista me dijo que no tenía cómo escanearlo. Le expliqué que con cualquier móvil con esa misma aplicación se escanean los DNIs y aún así me dijo que no tenía cómo pasarlo al ordenador. Fui al coche a buscar la cartera por no entrar en discusión, pero me parece que hay que empezar a actualizarse según se aprueban las leyes. Subimos a la habitación a dejar el equipaje y volvimos a recepción, ya que nos dimos cuenta que después de explicarnos el horario de desayuno, darnos la clave del WiFi y demás, no nos había comentado nada del spa y queríamos reservar para el día siguiente. Cuando le preguntamos a ver cuando podemos hacer el circuito que tenemos incluido en la reserva nos indica que el spa está cerrado el martes entero por mantenimiento y además por defecto los lunes y martes por la tarde está cerrado. Nos quedamos chafados y le preguntamos a ver qué solución nos daba, ya que nosotros teníamos pagado ya el circuito y era el principal motivo por el que nos alojábamos en ese hotel. Sin saber qué decirnos fue a hablar con lo que suponemos sería algún gerente o compañero y al volver nos ofreció un bono gratuito para canjear en otra visita cuando quisiéramos. Le dijimos que no vivíamos en la zona y que no íbamos a venir en otra ocasión para disfrutar del spa, habiendo ya gastado el dinero en quedarnos dos noches ahí. Finalmente le dijimos que ya reclamaríamos por traventia, dado que entendemos que no es su culpa y no tenía más opciones para ofrecernos. La habitación estaba bastante bien, aunque carecía de balcón, por lo que nos fijamos no había ninguna con balcón. El baño se atascó en apenas dos días que pasamos ahí y el último día no había manera de usarlo. La primera noche no tuvimos a nadie en la habitación contigua y dormimos bien, pero la segunda noche entró una persona y se escuchaba absolutamente todo. Como si las paredes fueran de papel, pasamos la noche escuchando sus ronquidos como si lo tuviéramos al lado en la cama. También se escuchaba un ruido como de motor, no sé si tenía que ver con el mantenimiento del balneario o era algo habitual. En la zona parece que hay pocos bares y restaurantes, por lo que miramos en reseñas se comía bien, sin embargo el lunes a la noche estuvimos dando vueltas tanto por el pueblo como por el pueblo contiguo, y nos encontramos con la mayoría cerrados y los que estaban abiertos no daban cenas, parece que estaban descansando de la semana santa, y que entre semana no ofrecen gran cosa. Nos entraron a "hacer la habitación" la primera mañana, pero lo único que hicieron fue hacer la cama y ponernos otra pastilla de jabón de manos. Habíamos utilizado todas las toallas y se notaba sobradamente que estaban utilizadas y no nos cambiaron ninguna. El desayuno dejaba muchísimo que desear, siendo bufé libre y habiendo muy poco donde elegir. Había una variedad de 5 bollitos, de los cuales probé 3 y solo uno estaba bueno, me parece difícil tener bollería industrial que sepa mal, pero así fue.

The hotel was easy to find on the main road through town. The first thing that hit us as we walked in was the very strong smell of chlorine, we guess from the swimming pool. It was so strong I had to hold my nose. The staff at reception were friendly but not overly helpful when I asked where to find a bank. ||||The room was very basic, two twin beds, very cheap mattresses, poor lighting, no air conditioning. The shower was so small you can't turn around in it without hitting your elbow on the tap and changing the water temperature, and you can't bend over to wash your feet!||||With no air conditioning we had to sleep with the window wide open which meant listening to the passing traffic, dogs barking and other people in nearby rooms. ||||We found breakfast basic but filling.
