AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!!!! SO UNFORTUNATE HOW IT ENDED. We had an AMAZING holiday in Tenerife. The air BnB was absolutely beautiful, very clean and the views of the ocean were absolutely UNREAL. Honestly we had a blast. Of course, like all the other reviews, the problem occurred after check out.
Check out was 11am, and yes, we were running a bit late. The cleaners were at the door 11 sharp, we were all packed ready to go. I was filling the dish washer, as we were only there for 3 nights and they only provided 1 dish washer tablet in their “welcome pack”. Bear in mind the dish washer was nearly full with about dishes left to load. As the communal bin was about half way down the road we decided to wait until check out to take the bins out, which was about 4 sealed plastic bags. Again, no bins provided and only 1 black bag for our stay.
We informed the cleaners we were finishing the dishes and we were going to take the rubbish out. They said no, leave it we will do it. My wife then confirmed in Spanish (as she is fluent), they repeated that they will do it.
We informed them of the pizza box, a couple of unopened yoghurts and a few 2L bottles unopened were in the fridge and we wanted to bin them again confirmed in Spanish, leave it we will do it.
I understand if we would be in their way whilst tidying up for the next 10 minutes but it was quite a large property and they could of got busy with any of the rooms or toilets whilst we quickly finished and left.
Subsequently, whilst back at home we received a notification that we were charged £150, not euros, GREAT BRITISH POUNDS, for everything above.
We politely contested and explained the above situation. To which we received back, and I’m actually shocked at the tactics, an email stating a strong odour of cigarettes in the property on top of previous issues. I would have thought this would be a huge concern addressed from the jump. This is also a very big lie as not a single cigarette was smoked in the property during the stay at the property.

The apartment itself is not just beautiful; it's a haven in a stunning part of the world. The weather has been fantastic, the pools are gorgeous, and everything is spotlessly clean. I couldn't be happier with this fantastic property! The attention to detail and the friendly atmosphere created by Esther and Lillian have truly exceeded our expectations. LO POSITIVO La ubicación es algo lejos de todo, hay que tener coche o es dificil disfrutar de la isla. La residencia es muy tranquila, poco ruido y poca gente (primer fin de semana de junio). El apartamento tiene absolutamente todo para estar a gusto, las camas son cómodas, 2 baños completos con bañera y ducha, 2 picas, 3 WC, 2 terrazas... Tiene hervidora, cafetera (capsulas tipo nespreso duras pequeñas), batidora de mano y de varillas, plancha de ropa, secador de pelo etc... Todo para hacer vida en el alojamiento. El garaje para el coche accesible directamente con el ascensor del edificio.
AHORA VIENE LO NEGATIVO: FUTUROS CLIENTES - CUIDADO CON VUESTRA FIANZA Todo nos fue bien hasta que dejemos el alojamiento y nos llegará un mail al día siguiente, acusándonos haber lastimado el cable de la hervidora. Cable escondido debajo de la hervidora. Hervidora que NO HEMOS TOCADO NI MOVIDO en ningún momento DE NUESTRA ESTANCIA.
El mail fue el siguiente: Buenas tardes, Elsa, Nos gustaría informarle de que hemos encontrado el incidente que aparece en las imágenes adjuntas. Este problema no se registraron en los controles anteriores, por lo que suponemos que es resultado de su acción. Nos gustaría tener noticias suyas. Mientras tanto, retendremos la fianza y le comunicaremos el importe de la reparación lo antes posible. Para cualquier aclaración adicional, no dude en ponerse en contacto con nosotros. Un cordial saludo, La fianza de una cantidad de 450e queda retenida por un cable que NO HEMOS TOCADO. A pesar de una estancia inmejorable, no podemos pasar por alto la acusación de un hecho del que no somos culpable. Después de varios días sin noticias, y un mail amenazando con una reclamación antes booking y la OCU, recibí una respuesta diciendo que como "el cable pudo ser arreglado sin coste económico, la fianza se nos devolverá"... Nos siguen considerando como culpable pero como pudo ser arreglado el cable entonces no nos cobran nada, ¿no?...
Recalcar además, que antes de todo, en la página web de booking ponía que la fianza no sería cobrada en el momento de la reserva, y ya antes del viaje tuvimos la mala sorpresa que SI fue retirada en el momento mismo de la reserva, además de la totalidad del coste de la misma, lo que representa una cantidad de dinero bastante importante. Cuantas malas sorpresas respecto a esta fianza...
He visto alguna otra reseña por aquí, que ya había pasado a otras personas así que no puedo recomendar más que tener mucho cuidado cuando entrais en el piso de mirar hasta el fondo del armario para ver si nada está roto porque os acusarán a vosotros y os pedirán dinero aunque no sea...
