Hostal Mirasierra — Hotel in Bustarviejo

For the price of €30/night for single occupancy, the hotel is pretty fantastic.

It is right near the bus stop from the route starting at Plaza de Castilla. It has showers that work and with loads of hot water. (Shower pressure is okay but not expecting one that can be used to sand blast at a 2 star hotel.) It has wifi. It has tv with the free to air channels. It has a lovely view over the mountains and where you can watch the sun rise. It isn't far from the starting paths for a number of local walks / hikes. Room was clean and tidy. Despite getting cold at night in April, heat was on and extra blankets were in the room. Free shampoo and soap bars provided. There were two places i could plug things in. Super happy. (There are stairs though and no elevator. So fair warning.)

Two things i would do to improve: Put a sign on the door in the rooms explaining check out procedures. Confusing as i forgot. Fix the sign on the front door to include a map of where the restaurant is. It is right behind the entrance. If you turn around with a starting place facing the entrance door, it is there and across the street. I had to find a local to explain where it was for me.

Really nice time. Great place to get away for a night or a weekend and enjoy...

Inolvidable de lo a disgusto que me sentí.||No hay recepción, al llegar tienes que ir a buscar la llave al bar del dueño, un auténtico dechado de antipatía y de cómo no tratar a los clientes por su total desinterés y sequedad.||Respecto a la habitación, nada más abrir la puerta salió un calor terrorífico con un olor a tabaco que era nauseabundo. Estamos en 2019 y presupongo que no se fumó en esa habitación, en ningún sitio leí o se me dijo lo contrario. Si me advierten de que hay ceniceros porque se fuma, ahí no me quedo.|Por mucho ventilar, no se fue el olor en los dos días. |Apagamos el radiador porque el calor era inaguantable, pero la noche fue tremenda igualmente, aquello parecía el trópico.|La almohada es altísima y dura y se me clavaban los muelles del colchón.|Me levanté como si me hubieran dado una paliza. ||En cuanto a limpieza, escasita. Qué suerte han tenido otros huéspedes, mi caso no fue así. |La funda de la almohada daba asco. Y debajo de la cama no se limpiaba hace tiempo, había pelos y pelusas del siglo pasado, una moneda de 5 cent, cáscaras de fruto seco...||En los cajones de la mesita no pudimos meter nada porque había migas y restos de patatas fritas.|El baño bastante decente, aunque el suelo no tanto.||Para rematar, el sábado por la noche al volver de cenar, alguien acababa de fumar en el hall y pasillos. Es lo que tiene no haber recepción nunca, que hay gente poco cívica y ahí no había nadie que les parara los pies. Yo he sido fumadora y lo primero que hay que hacer es respetar a los demás.||El check out es a las 12:30 ( me fui a las 12) y a las 11 intentaron entrar en mi habitación a limpiar. Menos mal que tenia cerrado y la llave puesta. De locos.| ||Por decir algo a su favor, su ubicación es buena, al lado de bares, restaurantes y parada de bus.||Pero no se me ocurriría parar más en este sitio. Estoy harta de dormir en hostales, hoteles buenos y malos, pensiones malas y buenas y esta experiencia ha sido de las peores.|Le salva que es el hostal que hay en Bustarviejo.||Mejor id a una casa rural o alojaos en otro pueblo...

Went there with family during a business trip.|The hotel does not have elevator.|Nobody is at the hotel’s reception. You have to walk down the street to a bar in order to pick up the keys.|They gave us a room located in the third floor.|Room was pretty small.|Room was filthy and extremely hot. WiFi out of service.|Concerning staff... nobody was there the entire time we were hosted.|Definitely I will look for another...
