Nice and clean rooms. But, be careful when you book a room. Be very sure you have the details of the agreement in your email, on paper or whatever. And make sure you know whether taxes are included in the price as well. You cannot trust the owner to keep his word. We found this hostal while walking the GR11 trail, on a very well-know booking website. To get confirmation and a reservation we called the owner. The owner confirmed the booking website price, so we made a reservation and stayed for two nights. The last night we decided to pay and were presented a check. The price we had to pay was much higher, like twentyfive percent more than the price we'd agreed upon and ten percent of taxes were added. We had quite a discussion, but we did not have solid evidence of the details of the deal, so we had to pay. We reserved an 'attic'.room, which has a big private terrace facing the water, which made the room a delight. The room itself was a good, plain room, bath en suite, and very clean. We extended our stay a third day to enjoy it. We are sorry we only took one of our meals there, as the food was very good, and the dining room is a friendly place (despite our very limited Spanish). El 25 de marzo elegimos este restaurante por estar alejado de la primera linea de playa donde están aquellos que dan muy poco y malo por un precio barato de menú. En cambio, éste se nota que lleva TODA la vida (mantenerse abierto es todo un logro tras varias generaciones y requiere mucho esfuerzo y calidad). No es "flor de un día". Vimos que tenía atractiva oferta en cada plato del menú y entramos con la idea de comer "sin más" un menú de 15 euros. Pero... la ensalada de queso cabra era fantástica, de los mejillones marinera (toda una marmita) me tomé hasta el caldo por rico y... el rodaballo era UNO ENTERO para cada uno. Impresionantes!!!, además acompañados por una salsa romesco CASERA con su puntito original. El vino blanco era insuperable de calidad y frescura (me rellenó la copa sin cobrarla). La crema catalana era casera, casera... Bueno, que comimos como hacía tiempo... por la mitad de otros sitios "pintones pero engañosos".||De verdad, si estáis por la zona buscar y entrar porque así comprobaréis lo equivocadas de muchas opiniones injustas vertidas en esta web.||Y al dueño hay que cogerle el puntito, que parece seco al principio pero es un buen hombre cansado de tanto currar y aguantar a muchos clientes "de todo tipo" que no han aprendido a comer o están poco viajados. ¡Chapeau!...
