Hotel Casbah — Hotel in el Puig de Santa Maria

Upon arriving the room was clean, bed was very comfortable, our room had a smart tv, and decent shower. We had travelled from the UK and it was 1am when we arrived and we were desperate for some water and the receptionist wouldn’t give us a bottle of water because the bar was closed. I found it hard to understand refusing a customer some water. Eventually after walking the streets and finding nothing open we returned and begged for some water and were eventually given some! We asked for our room to be cleaned twice during our stay. The first time it had a semi decent clean. Beds and towels were changed (although all towels in hotel seem to be stained which suggests to me they aren’t being washed properly) . The second time we had our room cleaned the bed was made, but sheets were not changed! Dirty towels we had left on the floor were folded and put away as if they were clean! Another thing that shocked us was that one morning we bought some croissants from the bar to eat in our room, however they ended up not being eaten and we returned them to the bar to be binned on a tray with our used cups etc. later that afternoon my husband joked with the bar lady and asked her if the 2 croissants left for sale were ours from the morning, and to our surprise she replied that they were, and asked if we wanted them back. 🥴 those croissants had been sitting in 30 degree heat on our balcony for over an hour, and i don’t know about anyone else, but I certainly wouldn’t want to eat something that another customer had bought taken away, laid outside, then been brought back 🤢 |The hotel itself isn’t bad for a budget hotel but the staff are extremely unprofessional, and some of them not very friendly. I can honestly say that service wise it’s the worst hotel...

This is the typical sea hotel, nothing of excellent, few essential services but enough for people who will stay all day outside and need a place for a shower and to rest||||from this point of view this hotel is good, staff hearty and available||Wifi not excellent above all in the night but accettable||||The free parking is almost impossible to be used, few places, but there is the hotel parking and we could use it free as their offer otherwise the price is acceptable||||The quadruple room is not so big, 2 double beds in a little room but it's acceptable||The bathroom was big enough and well cared||||The real problem was the air conditioned that did not work as necessary||The air that came out was not really cold, just fresh, and with summer temperature this is not good.||In the common areas air conditioned was good, so i suppose that just that device did not work: I suggest to do something in order to fix it||||In any case price/quality...

Esta ubicado en la entrada del pueblo Para ir a la playa es unos 10 min en coche. El pueblo tiene un monasterio muy bonito para ir a visitar El pueblo tienen Mercadona a 5 min en coche. Cuando llegue me encanto , calidad precio, las habitaciones un poco pequeñas pero todo muy limpio y vi que era UN AMBIENTE MUY FAMILIAR , recalco esto por lo que me paso.... El armario tenia dentro un mini caja fuerte, pero vi un ambiente tan bueno y familiar que deje el dinero en efectivo apartado para la gasolina para la vuelta a mi domicilio dentro de un bolso y ese bolso colocado dentro del armario. El segundo día de estar allí, nos bajamos a a playa a pasar el día y cuando llegamos por la tarde noche según abrí la habitación olía diferente pero nadie había limpiado nada, tenia varias cosas encima de la mesilla de noche y estaban movidas, pero insisto no me preocupe porque el hotel me pareció de fiar desde el minuto 1 que entre. AUNQUE ESTO NO ME CUADRO CUANDO ENTRE LA VERDAD QUE NO REGUITRE NADA Fue por la noche arreglándome para salir que fue a escoger un bolso y me dio por mirar mi dinero y ya no estaba tenia 3 billetes de 10€ y de 50€ enrollados todos entre si y solo quedaban 3 billetes de 10€ LOS 2 BILLETES DE 50€ABIAN DESAPARECIDO Baje a la recepción del hotel y me dijeron que mirara bien cuando poco( poniéndome en duda) cuando ya poco había que mirar , sabia donde había dejado el dinero apartado para la gasolina de mi vuelta a casa, CUANTO BILLETES HABIA Y LA POSICION EN QUE LOS HABIA DEJADO ( ENRROLLADOS DENTRO DE UN BOLSO QUE NO ME IBA A PONER) Al ver el pasotismo y desidia que tuvieron en la recepción pase para no encambronarme mas Al día siguiente por la mañana estaba el director y dueño del hotel y baje hablar con el de manera educada y le expliqué lo ocurrido. Me DIJO QUE ESO ERA IMPOSBLE QUE EL SE FIABA DE SUS LIMPIADORAS Y QUE NO ERA POSIBLE Y MUY AMABLEMENTE ME DIJO QE TENIA EL DERECHO DE ADMISION Y QUE NOS FUERAMOS PORQUE LE ESTABAMOS ACUSANDO DE UN ROBO LA VERDAD QUE NO FUI NI A DENUNIAR POR 100 MISERABLES EUROS Y SABIA QUE LA DENUNIA AL NO SUPERAR LOS 400€ NO IBA A LLEGAR A ABSOLUTAMENTE NADA .

PERO QUE SEPAIS QUE PRIMERO OS ROBAN Y DESPUES MUY AMABLEMENTE OS INTENTA ECHAR GUARDAR TD EN LA CAJA FUERTE QUE NO OS PASE COMO A MI !!!!!!!!!!! El pueblo es super familiar y bonito !!!!!! Una pena el sabor de boca que me llevo ...... Logicamente no volvere ni se lo recomendare a nadie...
